An exciting opportunity has opened up to manage our taproom – the heart and soul of Jervis Bay Brewing Co. We are looking for someone who possesses a can-do attitude, a strong work ethic, exacting customer service standards and a love of beer to work with our amazing staff to take our business forward. The venue manager will head up our taproom team and ensure the day-to-day running of the taproom is smooth, focusing on providing an unforgettable customer experience. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Staff management and training
• Rostering
• Reporting and forecasting
• Organising and delivering a schedule of taproom events
• Delivering on various key performance areas pertaining to taproom excellence
• Maintaining excellent WH&S standards and monthly reporting 
• Delivering business strategic objectives

The successful candidate for the role will: 

• Possess deep knowledge of, and experience in, customer service
• Be able to lead by example in a small, dedicated team
• Know and love the Bay and Basin community and enjoy engaging with the public 
• Share our passion to maximise the sustainability of our business operations
• See the bigger picture and assist in delivering the strategic objectives of the business
• Have an interest in a variety of beer styles and an interest in emerging trends
• Be meticulous about beer quality, hygiene standards and workplace health and safety
• Be willing to learn and share knowledge 
• Be personable and willing to engage with the public
