As our brewing operations evolve, an exciting opportunity has opened for a warehousing, cellar and packaging officer. We are looking for someone who possesses a can-do attitude, a strong work ethic, exacting personal standards and a love of beer to work with our brew team in order to take our business forward. The warehousing, cellar and packaging officer will work across the brew and sales teams to get beer from the brewery to our customers. Opportunities will exist to learn more about all elements of making and packaging beer.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Packaging beer – canning, kegging and associated Clean In Place (CIP)
- Preparing for packaging – cleaning kegs; organising canning dry goods
- Representing the business to customers while delivering beerÂ
- Staging pallets
- Organising the warehouse
- Restocking the taproomÂ
- Cleaning beer lines in the taproomÂ
- Serving beer in the taproom
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe workplaceÂ
- Delivering business strategic objectives, including around personal growth and sustainability
The successful candidate for the role will:
- Have a passion for craft beer
- Recognise the importance of exceptional customer service
- Share our passion to maximise the sustainability of our brewing and business operations
- Assist in delivering the strategic objectives of the business
- Be handy and good at DIY
- Be flexible and work constructively as part of a small team
- Be comfortable with driving long distances in a manual vehicle and operating a forklift
- Be meticulous about beer quality, hygiene standards and appearance and workplace health and safety
- Be willing to learn and share knowledgeÂ
- Be personable and willing to engage with the public
- Have a forklift license or be willing to obtain and be able to drive a manual vehicle
- Possess a current Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
