New Mogwai Yeast in South Coast Cupitt’s X JBBCo Colab

A South Coast dream team has come together this week to create a new Belgian-style beer at the Jervis Bay Brewing Co. facility. Liam Jackson and Jon Louth from Cupitt’s Estate Brewery have joined the JBBCo Head Brewer Dr. Oísin Sweeney, to combine forces on a new brew, set to drop mid-December, just in time for JBBCo’s 3rd birthday celebration.

In an exciting first, the brewers have been joined by Yeast Farmer Josh Allen from Mogwai Labs, using a new culture in this collaboration brew. Mogwai Labs is based out of Wollongong University, and specialise in fresh, small-batch locally produced liquid yeast cultures for craft breweries.

The as-yet-unnamed brew will be available at the Cupitt’s Estate Taproom and Jervis Bay Brewing Co. taproom in coming weeks.
