Tasting Notes: A traditional style of pilsner to shake up from our core range new age pils. This brew lagered in tank for about 6 months to develop and clarify. Delivering a beautiful crisp, blonde, delectable drop.
Story: This style originated in 1842, with “pilsner” originally indicating an appellation in the Czech Republic. Classic examples of this style used to be conditioned in wooden tanks and had a less sharp hop bitterness despite the similar IBU ranges to German-style pilsner.
