This month we are supporting the great Jervis Bay School of Music Scholarship Program! The school often brings their students along to our open mic nights to have their debuts with our supportive crowd and it couldn’t make us happier to give something back to their organisation to help them continue giving back to our community!

‘At Jervis Bay School of Music, we believe in the power of music to transform lives. Recognising that not every aspiring musician has the means to pursue their passion, we have established the Jervis Bay School of Music Scholarship Fund. This initiative provides free music lessons and instruments to children from disadvantaged backgrounds, giving them the opportunity to explore, learn, and grow through music.
Our dedicated team of teachers, each with their own specialisations, ensures that each scholarship recipient receives the best education, tailored to their individual needs and needs. Whether it’s mastering the guitar, refining vocal skills, or discovering the piano, our scholars are given the best environment and support to thrive.
Our scholarship is not just about learning an instrument; it’s about fostering creativity, building confidence, and contributing to personal development. We take immense pride in nurturing the next generation of musicians and seeing them perform at our concerts and showcases and our community pop-up events.

Open Mic will be on the 29th of this month, kicking off at 6:30 pm. Come and show some extra support for some students and people of the community who get up to show us their amazing talents. A donation tin will be on the bar if anyone is feeling generous enough to give back 🙂
